Dear Music Co-ordinator, 

Recent Ofsted and Government comments about bringing professional musicians into schools have prompted us to contact you with an exciting offer. 

First of all allow me to introduce my colleague Pete Willsher to you. Pete has been professional musician for most of his working life. He has played all over the world in bands and orchestras. More recently he has been a much sought after session musician playing on many recordings backing many well known artists. It is very likely that you have already heard Pete play.

WillWin are now taking bookings for the Spring term.  Our package is as follows:- Pete Willsher will visit during one session (am. or pm.) He will talk to your pupils about the history of Guitars and Guitar like instruments going back to 13^th century. The main part of the session will consist of Pete introducing and demonstrating some of the many instruments in the Guitar family. These include Ukelele, Classical, Acoustic, Electric, Bass and Steel Guitars.  Each presentation will run for around 1 hour and conclude with some time for questions.  We will supply a master of a photocopy-able work sheet that has proved useful for follow up work.

We feel that these sessions will not only give your pupils a real insight into this instrument but, having heard Pete’s superb mastery of the various instruments, must inspire pupils to look at music in a new and exciting way. 

Our fees are £250 per session for two, hour long presentations, payable on the day of the presentation. We prefer groups of no more than 100 pupils. Should you only require one presentation the fee would be £165.

We hope we can have the pleasure of visiting your school and inspiring your pupils to greater heights in music. Feedback, from teachers and children, has been very encouraging and references are available.
